This Sunday, November 24, we celebrate Christ the King Sunday and Pledge Sunday, marking the Last Sunday after Pentecost. Worship will be held at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with choir, livestream at 10:00, and Coffee Hour following.

Highlights include:

  • Pledge Sunday: Stewardship is a spiritual practice, and all are encouraged to submit pledges. So far, 56 households have pledged a total of $413,210 (69% of goal).

  • Worship Minister Training: Adult training sessions for Eucharistic Ministers, Acolytes, and Chalice Bearers continue November 24. Youth training is scheduled for December 1.

  • Marketplace & Outreach Update: October’s Fall Marketplace raised above-budget income, with $2,720 sent to Holy Family in NC for hurricane recovery and $2,000 to Bishop Isaac in Ezo.

  • Thanksgiving Food Drive Thanks: Parishioners generously supported Second Story, with donations celebrated as “a blessing” by Christine Bartell, program director.

  • Upcoming Advent Events: Breakfast with Santa (Dec 7), Advent Hymns & Poems concert (Dec 7), Women’s Christmas Coffee (Dec 14), Greening of the Church (Dec 15), Creche Pageant (Dec 18), Blue Christmas (Dec 18), and Christmas Eve/Day services.

Closing:
This week we crown the church year with thanksgiving, pledging, and praise as we prepare to enter Advent.
