This Sunday, November 17, we gather for the Twenty-sixth Sunday after Pentecost, with services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with choir. Children’s Chapel will be offered during the sermon, Coffee Hour follows, and the 10:00 service will be livestreamed.
Highlights include:
Worship Minister Training: Training for Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Acolytes, and Chalice Bearers will be held November 17 & 24 at both 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Youth training for worship ministry is scheduled for December 1.
Pledge Campaign: St. Francis has received 46 pledges totaling $327,380 (55% of goal). Parishioners are invited to add their pledges as we move toward the $600,000 target.
St. Gabriel’s BBQ Fundraiser: November 16 at St. James, Leesburg, supporting STEAM camps, food justice, and border ministries.
Hurricane Helene Relief: The Rev. Tracey Kelly of Holy Family, NC, shares gratitude for St. Francis’ support following devastating storms.
Scouting News: Troop 55 Scouts participated in a national drone competition and an outdoor climbing trip at NROCKS, gaining both recognition and leadership experience.
Thanksgiving Food Drive: Parishioners are invited to donate $60 food baskets, gift cards, or assembled meals for families supported by Second Story. The drive ends November 17.
