This Sunday, December 1, begins the holy season of Advent. Services will be offered at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with choir, Children’s Chapel during the sermon, Coffee Hour, and livestream at 10:00.
Highlights include:
Advent Contemplative Worship: Evening worship begins at 5:00 p.m. on Dec 1 with candlelight, music, silence, and Holy Communion in the Iona Celtic tradition.
Committal Service: A service for Gladys Eyres will be held Nov 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Great Falls.
Youth Acolyte Training: Dec 1 at 11:15 a.m. for youth grades 5–12 interested in acolyte and Gospel Book bearer ministry.
Creche Singers: Performing Dec 1 at 4:15 p.m. during the Great Falls Celebration of Lights.
Director of Family Ministries Search: A committee has been formed and begins work Dec 8.
Upcoming Advent Events: Breakfast with Santa (Dec 7), “Wake, Awake!” Hymns & Poems Concert (Dec 7), Women’s Christmas Coffee (Dec 14), Greening of the Church (Dec 15), Pageant (Dec 18), Blue Christmas (Dec 18), Christmas Eve & Day services.
