February 6, 2025 Newsletter
This Sunday, February 9, we celebrate the Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany. Worship will be offered at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with choir at the later service and livestream available. Coffee Hour follows each service.
Highlights include:
Scout Sunday: Scouts and their families will join the 10:00 service, with youth helping to lead worship. Alumni are especially invited to attend.
Second Sunday Contemplative Worship: The contemplative evening service resumes February 9 at 5:00 p.m., featuring candlelit prayer, silence, music, and Holy Communion from the Iona Celtic tradition.
Black Tie Dinner & Auction: Join us March 1 for this beloved event. Tickets are $95, with seating limited. Donations for auction items—particularly vacation homes, unique experiences, and gift certificates—are needed.
Stewardship Success: The 2025 campaign exceeded its $600,000 goal and met Rick Larson’s matching challenge. Parishioners’ generosity has secured a bright financial outlook.
Inquirer’s Class: It’s not too late to join this Wednesday evening series taught by Fr. Weston Mathews, exploring Episcopal beliefs and practices.
Altar Guild Gathering: All are invited to attend “Getting to Know You” on February 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Narthex and Sanctuary.
Closing:
With Scouts, contemplative worship, and upcoming community events, this week is filled with opportunities for faith, fellowship, and service.
