St. Francis and Ezo, South Sudan: Our Ongoing Covenant of Faith and Support
For more than 25 years, St. Francis has walked in covenant with the Diocese of Ezo in South Sudan—praying for and supporting our brothers and sisters through times of war, hardship, and hope. From repairing wells and feeding schoolchildren to funding peace events and strengthening the Church’s outreach, our shared journey has been one of faith in action. In 2025, this covenant takes on new meaning as we look forward to welcoming Bishop Isaac Bangisa and his wife, Mama Nora, to St. Francis in 2026—a historic visit that will deepen our bond and continue the work of reconciliation, peace, and renewal in Ezo.
