Ezo Update from Bishop Isaac

Greetings to you from Ezo in the name of Christ our Lord and Savior.

Dear Jack and Friends in St. Francis,

Greetings to you from Ezo in the name of Christ our Lord and Savior. I trust that you are doing well by God's grace. We have been keeping you in prayer. Thank you also for keeping us in thoughts.

We are organizing a sport competition for peace to reduce the much trauma we have amongst youth and communities in Ezo as many of them are affected and traumatized after the series of conflicts which happened in the State. The event shall take place in the third Week of September 2023 and will include a number of ceremonies and activities. We pray that if all goes well, we shall have the following:

1. Second part "Creation to Christ" Bible conference for youth with Archbishop Paullo of Central Equatoria Internal Province (WEIP)

2. Football competition for peace involving youth representing our 6 Archdeaconries

3. A number of other sport activities for different groups

4. Blessing of marriage (matrimony) for over 15 pastors and lay people

5. Ordination of 3 deacons and 1 priest

6. Confirmation

We expect the following visitors to join us for the event:

- Archbishop Dr. Paul Yigusuk of Central Equatoria Internal Province

(CEIP) and delegation from our main province in Juba and SSUDRA

- Archbishop Dr. Samuel Peni of Western Equatoria Internal Province (WEIP) and delegation from WEIP and delegation from the Episcopal Diocese of Yambio

- All bishops of WEIP (Diocese of Olo, Diocese of Maridi, Diocese of Ibba and Diocese of Nzara), our Chancellor Gen. Canon James Manday and delegation from the mentioned Dioceses

- We hope to invite friends in the gov't at different levels and from sister

Churches in DRC and CAR
