This week we enter the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost, with worship at 8:00 a.m. (Rite I) and 10:00 a.m. (Rite II with music). Services are held in person and the 10:00 service is livestreamed for those joining online.
Key announcements include:
Fall Marketplace Planning Meeting: Everyone is invited on August 4 at 11:15 a.m. in Millen Hall to help shape this year’s St. Francis Fall Marketplace. The event will feature vendors, baked goods, rummage sale, books, and more.
Crafters and Woodworkers Needed: Handmade items such as ornaments, baby gifts, and woodcrafts are being collected for the October 19 Marketplace.
School Supply Drive: Donations of supplies or funds will support Second Story and provide backpacks for local children in need. The drive ends August 4.
Rise Against Hunger: On October 4, St. Francis will host a meal-packing event to assemble 15,120 meals for vulnerable communities worldwide.
Weekly offerings such as Morning & Evening Prayer, Bible study, and the Men’s Group continue online, alongside fellowship opportunities like Social Hour and Second Story dinners.
