This week we celebrate Ezo Sunday and the Last Sunday after the Epiphany. Worship will be offered March 2 at 8:00 a.m. (Rite I) and 10:00 a.m. (Rite II with choir). The 10:00 service will feature the Rev. Richard Jones and AFRECS Ambassador Dane Smith alongside Fr. Weston.
This edition also celebrates:
Black Tie Dinner & Auction: Parishioners gathered March 1 for an evening of fellowship and generosity, raising funds for outreach. Half of the proceeds will aid recovery from Hurricane Helene in North Carolina; the other half will support the Diocese of Ezo in South Sudan.
Ezo Sunday Service: Join us March 2 for special prayers and reflection with AFRECS leaders. This service reaffirms our long-standing covenant with the Diocese of Ezo.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: March 4 at 6:00 p.m. in Millen Hall.
Ash Wednesday Services: March 5 at 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with choir.
Second Sunday Contemplative Worship: March 9 at 6:30 p.m. (note later start time).
Special Lenten Guest Preacher: Riley K. Temple will join us March 16 at both services.
Closing:
Ezo Sunday reminds us of the deep bonds between St. Francis and our mission partners in South Sudan, as well as our shared call to outreach at home and abroad.
