This Sunday, August 3, we celebrate the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost with services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Fr. Weston Mathews will preach and preside at both. Coffee Hour follows each service, and the 10:00 service will be livestreamed.

This week we also joyfully welcome the Rev. Joy Warburton as Associate for Family Ministries. A reception will follow the 10:00 service to celebrate her ministry among us.

Other highlights include:

  • Fall Sunday Forum Hour: Begins September 28 with a labyrinth walk led by the Rev. Linda Calkins, followed by sessions through the fall featuring Dr. Mike Hattwick, Joe Reynolds, Kristin Clark Taylor, Pepin Tuma, Dr. Lynda Davis, and others.

  • Deacon’s Corner: Nancy Searby reflects on her trip to England with the Ezo-Link Team and upcoming opportunities for racial justice pilgrimage.

  • Outreach: Help prepare bagged lunches for the Embry Rucker Shelter on August 16.

  • Marketplace Prep: Volunteers are invited to create crafts, donate rummage items, and prepare auction baskets for the October 18 Fall Marketplace.

  • Creche & Youth: Summer intern Matthew Swiacki will lead a forum on “Neurodiversity & Faith” August 24.

  • Community Arts: Plein Air Painting class with Great Falls Studios will be held August 16 in the Memorial Garden.

  • Mission Partnership: News from Pine Ridge Episcopal Mission celebrates a $69,050 United Thank Offering grant for running water at Church of the Mediator, a project supported in part by St. Francis outreach.

Closing:
