Ms. Sandra Loucks comes to us, from Virginia Theological Seminary, as a Postulant for Holy Orders, sponsored by the Diocese of East Carolina (NC). Originally from Texas, Sandra has lived in Maryland, Virginia, Germany and North Carolina since graduating from college.

Her work and ministries have included commercial interior design and CAD operation for architectural firms, project management for a furniture contractor, non-profit work for veterans and military spouses, Eucharistic visitations for seniors, and raising three wonderful children.

Sandra is joined by her husband, Lt. Col. Rick Loucks (USMC, retired) and son, Liam (20). Her daughters, Hannah (25) and Claire (23), may appear from time to time. Sandra is very open to sharing her journey of faith within both the Roman Catholic tradition and the Episcopal Church. Her hobbies include table games, cards, and occasional painting. Her thin place (where she feels most closely in relationship with God) is in the water, swimming.
